Mahendra Singh Dhoni, MS Dhoni in short, is the name which is close to a billion Indian hearts retired from all forms of international cricket on 15th August 2020. Dhoni’s career for over a one and half decade left indelible marks in Indian cricket as well as in international cricket. The life of Dhoni is such an inspiring story for everyone, especially for the youth who are endeavouring to make their dreams come true.
Dhoni’s journey from Ranchi (capital of Jharkhand) to playing the debut in international cricket in 2004 was full of drama with an incredible passion towards cricket. He was initially a football player and a regular goalkeeper. On the advice of his coach, he later shifted to the wicketkeeper position in cricket after which his career took a turn with his impressive wicket-keeping skills. He then upgraded his batting skills.
